"OTOKU Line" Service contents
What is "OTOKU Line"
A direct accommodation type telephone service for connecting customers by using SoftBank Telecom's telecommunications facilities. This is SoftBank Telecom's "OTOKU Line" telephone service.
Unlike the ordinary configuration, calls don't go through NTT East/NTT West in this service. Therefore, you can get high quality service at lower basic charges. It is still possible to call emergency special numbers such as 110 (for police)/118 (for marine security)/119 (for fire station)

Major features of "OTOKU Line"
Basic monthly charge for fixed telephone line is less expensive.
Since SoftBank Telecom's circuits are used, the amount to be paid for the basic monthly charge is less expensive than before.
If you newly subscribe to "OTOKU Line" while maintaining your current telephone number, you don't need to pay the subscription fee.
You can use the NTT East or NTT West telephone number that you currently use as is (Telephone number portability). In the meanwhile, if you install a new fixed telephone, it is not necessary to pay the ordinary subscription fee.
Multiple payments can be integrated into one
Unlike previous cases, there is no request for payment from NTT East or NTT West. The request for payment for telephone charges, including the monthly basic fees and call charges, will be made by us, releasing you from complicated arrangements for multiple payments.
Basic services remain as they are
Calls to emergency numbers such as "110 (for police)," "118 (for marine security)" and "119 (for fire station)" (free of charge) and other basic services including Caller ID, etc., will be available the same as the current situation.
Convenient additional services are enhanced
As for the various kinds of additional services, services nearly equivalent to the fixed telephone services of NTT East and NTT West are available.
