My Line

If you register SoftBank Telecom to "My Line" previously, you can use SoftBank Telecom without dialing the identification number of "0088" or "0061" that was required for calling in the past.

For example, to make a call to 03-XXXX-XXXX:

To make a call to New York in the United States:

Four kinds of call categories to be registered to "My Line"

You can register carriers for four kinds of call categories respectively.
SoftBank Telecom totally covers all four call categories from local calls to international calls.

  1. Local calls
  2. Toll calls within the same prefecture
  3. Calls to other prefectures
  4. International calls

Two kinds of "My Line" services

In "My Line" service, two kinds of services are available; a carrier selection service "My Line" and a carrier fixing service "My Line Plus".

My Line Plus My Line
"My Line Plus" is recommendable for the users who wish to use Softabank Telecom. If you register SoftBank Telecom to "My Line" previously, you can use SoftBank Telecom without dialing "0088" or "0061" that was required for calling in the past.
Even if you dial an identification number of another carrier by mistake, you can always use SoftBank Telecom. You can use any carrier by dialing its identification number at each time.
Even if you make a call with a telephone terminal having the ACR function *1 for other companies, you can always use SoftBank Telecom. If you use a telephone terminal having the ACR function *1, the carrier selected in the telephone terminal has preference to others.
If you cannot use the registered carrier due to disasters etc., you can use other carriers that are not registered by dialing their identification number after dialing the service release number of "122".  
  • *1: The ACR function is an optional function of telephone terminals to automatically select a carrier at the time of making a call.

Notes on registration and revision

  • The registration fee/revision fee of 840 yen (including taxes) shall be required for a single application on a single telephone number respectively.
  • If you make multiple applications on a single telephone number, you must pay the registration fees for the respective applications separately.
  • Even if you register or revise one of these four call categories, you must pay the registration fee.
  • The registration fee will be included in a regular monthly invoice from NTT East or NTT West.
